Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1985. Their raw, blues-based sound, consisted of powerful vocals, tremendous guitar riffs and solos, redefined hard rock music in the late 80s. The classic lineup of the band consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. Along with later members keyboardist Dizzy Reed and drummer Matt Sorum, Guns N' Roses were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.

Created by Steven Adler it features two opposite-facing revolvers girdled by a rose stem with thorns and two red roses with dew drops on their petals in front of the band's name.
